Re: F-26 Hardtop Anchor Light
yes in my 1975 f26 the wires run up the strb side windshield pillar and top of windshield frame the trim unscrews from the frame but the headliner needs to be removed from the head and in my 1975 it uses diodes to make the nav lights work I just removed the headliner in the head the other day so I ...

Re: Wheel house floor suggestions ?
I replaced mine about 18yrs ago, with 1/2" marine plywood, sealed with epoxy and the top covered with a layer of glass ( I tinted the resin white so if I chipped the paint it wouldn't be as noticeable). I painted it with Awlgrip with a non-skid texture. It's held up really well over the years, ...

Re: Radar & MFD
You can't go wrong with Garmin, they both look like really nice units. The extra 2kw will definitely help punch through in rain and fog. My radar/gps cables run through the rear post of my arch, while my vhf wire runs through the front post. I haven't had any interference issues at all I don't know ...

Re: Radar & MFD
I agree with Prowlerfish regarding the 24" dome 4kw compared to the 18" dome 2kw. I've never really had any issues with target separation and It does come in really handy tracking storms. You shouldn't have an issue mounting the 24" dome on your arch, I have a 24" JRC mounted on ...

Re: F-26 Deck Repair
It's been a while since I updated the thread. It turned out to be a much larger project than expected. We ended up having to re-core the whole main deck, I guess the moisture meter doesn't lie.... All of the deck hardware has been re-finished or replaced and just waiting to be re-fastened. Here are ...

Re: Looking for New NiBral Prop
Paul I switched from a Dyna Jet to the DJX series propeller last year. It is made in 14" Diameter. It performs a little better than my Dyna Jet. I'm running a 14x10 LH with a cup. If you're looking for the Dyna-Jet Bob at Beacon might be able to get one for you. Matt http://www.miwheel.com/prop...

Looking good Paul! Was the top cored, or solid glass?
