Re: F36 Windlass Problem

prowlersfish, did you have to take the winch apart to free the rope?

Re: Depth and 360 degree imaging below surface F36 tricabin

Maretron and Actisesne also have products that convert analog to digital and transmit over a NMEA bus.

I may try to roll my own using an Arduino module. The biggest issue I am running into (besides finding the time) is access to the NMEA spec without having to buy it.

Re: Depth and 360 degree imaging below surface F36 tricabin

I also installed a NoLand RS11 to convert the analog gauges to digital and ran a dashboard ap on a second tablet. The dash is really coming along. I will create a dedicated thread for the new dashboard and post the reference here once its up. I am interested in seeing this because I will probably w...

Yes, it is a Good.

I was trying to figure out what could cause my symptom electrically and could not. I'll bet you are right about the rope being stuck in the pulley.

That's what I love about this forum! Thanks!

F36 Windlass Problem

We have not used our anchor in about six months, and tried to use it today. If I switched to up, it started pulling in rode. If I switched to down, it also started pulling in rode. There are switches at both helms and they failed exactly the same. It seems to me that it is a problem with the relay o...

Re: Fixing cabin wall vinyl F-32

Before I got a frearson drive, I used a one size smaller phillips with good results. You mentioned Frearson drives in another thread, which reminded me that I still had not bought any, so I ordered them. When I was working on the boat last week, I would have been stuck without them, so a big thanks...

Re: 10 Meter Mid Cabin "Refresh" ***Title Change***

You probably already thought of this, but any chance the screen in the kitchen faucet is clogged? I usually remove them from the faucets each spring and run the water for a while before reinstalling.

I must have posted the wrong link above -- the correct link for Beacon Marine's Crusader manifolds is https://www.trojanboats.net/zencart/ind ... 9a87402a61 and their prices are better anyway...

Re: Great Bay Swim June 11, 2017

Hope you had a great time!

I thought about volunteering as your deckhand, but needed to focus on getting our boat ready to take it on vacation. I am pretty much overwhelmed with projects, and then yesterday, my wife asked me to get our pool up and running for a party next weekend!

Re: Crusader Closed Cooling System

You definitely have closed cooling -- the big blue tube at the left of your picture is the heat exchanger. All of the boats that I have worked on use the same manifolds for closed cooling, but sometimes with different fittings for the plumbing. Crusader engines have been quite popular over the years...

Re: Swim Platform Repair

Not too much progress to report -- our water heater at the house failed and I have had to figure out what is wrong, buy a new part and install it. Unfortunately, the part was not available locally and I ordered it online, only to receive the last one in stock and it was broken. Now I get to disassem...

Re: Who built Trojans and your working Hull number.

Something else that ruffles my feathers is when somebody on a forum states that Bertram are some of the best boats built and the Trojans were not anywhere near their quality. Certainly different hull designs, but a Bertram would be low on my list for what we use our boat for. Of course, I don't mind...

Re: 10 Meter Express - RADAR ARCH NEEDS NEW HOME

It looks like it is fiberglass. Should not be that hard to change the width, but the height would be difficult to change without affecting how it looks.

I might have gone for it if I hadn't already bought one...
