PK, All I can say is.....wow !!! I read both of your 11 page threads. Lots of info for me in there, very helpful. I congradulate you on your dedication and all the work you have put into your boat. Also, glad to see you are healthy now :). I wish I could go with diesels in mine. It sure is tempting ...

Wowzer,

This was very helpful, thanks for posting. Can you share what brand of 3-bank charger/maintainer you are using? I'd like to start doing some more in-depth reading on the different chargers and it sounds like your brand would be a good place to start.

Question 1: Am I correct in that I need 2 high cranking amp batteries and 1 deep cycle battery? The way I understand it ...

Project 10m Express - Stupid Question #1

ok guys, First off, I have to say I'm really not dumb but some of my newbie questions are going to sound kind of stupid, so I'll appologize in advance. Unfortunately, I didn't get any keys with my boat. Last night I was looking at what locks I need to get re-keyed. I saw the cabin sliding door lock ...

You should also have the vacuum liner hull and hollow stringer arrangement. Thanks for the info, much appreciated. What is a vacum liner hull? Are you referring to the manufacturing process of vacum bagging the resin into the cloth? Does anyone have any pictures of what the stock exhaust configurat...

Project: Trojan 10 Meter Express

Gents, I would like to introduce you to my new project. It’s a 1985 Trojan 10 Meter Express Cruiser. I just had it delivered to my house so I can work on it there. Obviously it needs some substantial work! But I love the lines and design of the boat, it is exactly what I wanted. My plan is to real...

Thanks guys for the info, much appreciated. I'm surprised these motors can't take advantage of the carburator improvements made over the years..... I'd love to go diesel and have done a lot of reading on that subject too. But for now there is no budget for that. It seems like the Cummins 6BTA is a c...

New Trojan Owner - Carburator Options?

Gentlemen, I'm a proud new owner of a 1985 Trojan 10m Express. It's going to be a project boat as it's been sitting for a long time. That's ok with me because I love the style and layout of the boat and I can see the potential! I'll be posting some pictures of the boat and project but in the meantim...
