With that much water in the cabin your engine is fully or close to fully submerged you probably need to figure a new engine into the decision because when water gets in that way it's bad news. The wood is fiberglass coated so grab a moisture meter eveb a cheaper one will give you an idea and hold it...

Re: Backward battery now gauges dead?

All good points, I won't put an automotive alternator in I've seem the gifs they also have clearly visible shielding over the coil so if that's there, there must be a reason. Was just trying not to spend 200 dollars is all but time to put on my big boy pants and find the correct replacement which is...

Re: Backward battery now gauges dead?

Any chance there's a place with a good price on a blue alternator to match? It's not worth 100 dollars more to me but maybe 30 so around 100 total? Thanks

main window opener/latch <hatch adjuster>

The long ovals that you push on to open and close the windows I have no idea what they are called, but does anyone know of a company that makes them, or after they break that's it no more functional windows?

Re: Trailering a Trojan? No bow eye!?

Just a follow up I completed the trip I strapped it to the trailer as mentioned but I also ran 2x 30 foot tow straps all the way around the boat at just above the water line to tie it to the trailer winch post and add an extra layer. 306 miles at about 55 miles per hour with no issues and no real co...

Re: Trailering a Trojan? No bow eye!?

Awesome that's what I was hoping but I just wanted to make sure thank you Big D and everyone for agreeing it doesn't have to go far but I do want it to make the trip. It is inboard and the trailers rear beam is in almost 2 feet from the side rail end.

Trailering a Trojan? No bow eye!?

My boat doesn't have a bow eye, doesnt appear to have ever had one either no repairs no evidence of anything. I need to move it. I have a trailer that it will fit on size wise for my 26 foot Larson but that doesn't help me tow it safely without the main attachment spot. Is this just my boat or are t...

Re: 1972 Trojan F-25?

The first number of the last group is a 2 so it was built in 72 now it could very well be a crossover built in 72 but actually a 73 boat my paperwork says 72 though so I have no idea. This is why I am having a hard time... also it has the full teak cockpit
