Re: ? Raw Water Cooling in the Salt ?
Alan I think San Juan Mfg makes aftermarket cooling for Chrysler? But don't go with a flusher or RWC here in the NW unless you moor upriver and come home on the outgoing tide. It's just easier to get the right boat the first time and avoid headaches. Remember nothing ever dries here and hot marinas ...

They have something for that. It's called "seamanship". Your local Power Squadrons course can give you the lowdown on navigation.

Those are your flybridge or lower station selector switches for the searchlight. Be SURE the searchlight is off before leaving the boat during the day!

Re: Project "Tri Fly"
Goals is good. Otherwise the project has no milestones and is like one never-ending slog. Its a fun neurotic state feeling simultaneously totally exhausted, relaxed content and thinking "wait maybe I'll just take that thing I just finished apart again, install it backwards and upside down and m...

Re: Project "Tri Fly"
I hear THAT... I live on my project and make less headway. But I did finally chuck my genset install a HD inverter , battery bank and solar controller, rewire the rats nests that I could reach, ordered an automatic/spin washer, rebuild flybridge radar mount all this winter. When visitors come over p...

Re: About to replace Exhaust Gasgets
I know exactly the sound you mean. I'm not a Chrysler expert but was told by a mechanic that it was probably an exhaust chuff, after I played a video for them. Yes, why DID all large Chryslers in my childhood memories have that noise? Come to think of it the folks there made interesting noises as th...

Re: Project "Tri Fly"
Caught the annual flu here in Seattle or I'd have followed every photo! That hatch was a real head scratcher and your solution is awesome, suited for an imperial battle cruiser (sorry, new Star Wars movie. C-minus grade by the way.) especially since mine is still just a klunky old "lid" whi...

They are side by side. The pic rotated when I uploaded it???? Since they are drilled into teak and kinda bulbous and Star Trekky, I will reuse them.

I guess I should also ask, what would you repurpose them for? I was thinking ignition on lights so I turn things off
