I totally agree - sand the clear coat off and then go with the above paint. It will last for years - mine is going on 5 years and looks g...

FYI those sockets should be DC only work off batteries.
Requires special bulbs which you can get at any marine or RV place.

As for the fridge, you should be able to tell at the control if it is AC / DC. A lot of times people just replace them with AC because AC / DC fridges are pricey. I will say if you are out on the water, to be careful as it will drain the battery if the motor is not running. I usually turn mine down ...

Hello Where is your dinette is it on port or starboard? Trojan changed layout over the years. I have head and dinette on Starboard and galley and couch on Port. Water heater, normally, is under one of the dinette seats. As for the silver button - seems a mystery to me. Could it be wash down pump, au...

Hello Congrats on your acquisition. There should be a circuit breaker panel for shore power on port side below companion seat or below window on the floor if there is no seat. This fuse box is for shore power such as cabin outlets, stove, fridge, hot water heater, and/or battery charger. Fuses for t...

Re: Led Bulb For Spotlight
What brand is it? Does it look like my spot light in my id picture? So we are talking about an old school light bulb as the filament and glass dome are all one unit. As far as I know they do not make LED replacements but a new bulb can be acquired as well as internal spot light parts. My spot I thin...

Upon further reading of your post - sounds like someone previously changed the rails and modified how they were mounted.
