Re: Trojan F32 buyers advice
In the 4th photo from your dropbox, it looks like the fuel line on the right side is leaking below the valve. Not a hard thing to fix, but with a gas boat, it needs to be done ASAP. The only thing I saw that got my attention other than that is the oil in the bilge. Did it accumulate over a long time...

PCA Gold is currently $150/gal at West Marine through March 29.
Their CPP bottom paint is buy on/get one free at $129/gal, so you are getting a gallon for $65!

Well done! You were moving right along to get that done in 6 hours.
And thanks for posting the results here. If we keep doing that, this site will continue to be extremely valuable for those who have to do the same job later.

Another option is G10 fiberglass sheets. A bit more expensive but won't ever rot.

Re: Tips for reinstalling removable cabin roof on a 36' Tricabin
In similar situations where I have had to put a long amount of sealant on, I have applied the sealant and just before installing, I have run the tip of the sealer container over the sealant to break up the skin that has formed while I was applying it. Its better to have two people applying the seala...

The compressor and hose was probably for an air horn.

Re: 36 tri-cabin fuel tanks
Rhino, you may have already learned this, but Beacon Marine can supply the original documentation package for your boat that has lots of great info on how it left the factory, including the wiring diagrams. It is well worth the money.

Beacon Marine often has items that are not on the website. You might want to give Bob a call at 609-713-4602.

Trident Sani Shield Heavy Wall and Raritan Sani/Flex are also excellent hoses. I have the Trident on our boat and it has lived up to its reputation.

Re: Instructions on how to rebuild a Hynautic K-19 steering cyl
If needed I bet the o-rings could be matched up and that's what fails most the time Teleflex tech support was kind enough to give me the specs on each part in the kit. The O-rings are available except for the scarf cut Teflon rings and they told me that in a pinch, they could probably come up with ...

Re: Instructions on how to rebuild a Hynautic K-19 steering cyl
Now I am really excited that this thread was resurrected! After making the last post, I decided to do another look for the KS-14 rebuild kit for my K-51 cylinder and found a new source that I had not seen before. Twice I have found a company who showed it in stock and ordered from them. Both charged...

Re: Updating a Trojan F36 - Question of weight balance aftwards
Welcome AJ.TO! I can't wait to hear more about your refit. Our boat has a soft spot on the inner port stringer by the transom and that will be addressed at the same time I am making some other mods there. Thanks to prowlersfish for pointing out the area around the rudder stuffing boxes as worthy of ...

Re: Debris in fuel tank
If your fuel filters are working, you should not be getting debris in your carbs. The debris would be in the filters and they would get clogged, causing fuel starvation. Replacing them would give you relief for a while, but eventually, the debris in your tanks would cause them to clog again. Have yo...
