Re: V struts for shaft size change
You can go up to 1.5 with the stock struts. I don't think you can go any bigger on them. My engines put out 737 ftlbs torque using 1.5 shafts, But I have 1.53 reduction, not 1.75, Here is a company that can make the struts you need. You can also check with Beacon https://strutsruddersbearings.com/

Re: Trojan F26
What year? There are 2 diffrent F26s. The early one is a v-drive (early 70s) The later inline. The 318 should have no problem getting either one on plane If it does have issues something is wrong. I don't think a 360 was offered by Trojan but not positive. A lot of room for a small boat. If I was lo...

I would cut the top and see what you have. It can be done in or out of the water if it's blocked properly

Re: Deck repair option Injectadeck
Being a 2 parts the foam expands and cures quickly. I clean out the 3/16 hole and fill it with epoxy. Thanks for the info and answers on this product. I may try it on the future. I just done want to run into any lumps from the application as it expands and moves. There is a danger of that so you ne...

Re: Deck repair option Injectadeck
Looking good. I’ve repaired sections of the bow deck by removing the top fg layer with a vibrating saw, replaced the punky balsa core with like material, epoxy coat the balsa, overcoat the balsa and replace the deck section, saving the nonskid pattern. Ran a thin bead of West epoxy in the saw lines...
