Absent that, try Beacon Marine or MarineTech. Otherwise, a local welding shop can fabricate something for you. ...

The 10 meter express HVAC has duts that are built into the ceiling headliner of the salon. There is more pressure closer to the fan than at the end of the run, toward the bow. I found some similar air leaking around the medicine cabinet in th ehead. A quick dousing with some spray foam insulation wi...

duplex and 4 wire looms are available in a variety of guages at marine stores.

Makes everything easier to install and if you tag them, easier to troubleshoot later.

congrats on one of the two happiest days...

Actually even though it is an inanimate object, a boat has memories attached to it that can make it's sale a loss.

Impellers are relatively cheap.

Change them both and also clean out your strainers.

Good luck with your prize and enjoy her !

Based on the success of the 10 Meter, introduced in 1981 the International series was expanded to 10.8 11, 12, 13 and 14 meter vessels. The International Series were built in Lancaster, PA and all share the Delta Conic Hull design by Harry Schoell, and numerous other innovative and then groundbreaki...

I installed the Raymarine auto pilot on my 1983 10 Meter in 2004. It's the unit with the fluxgate compass. It was purchased as a complete "kit" and was a rather simple installation. I later added the Raymarine C series multifunction plotter and radar. There were some issues with those but ...

An older 14 meter with aging systems will require more than average ongoing O&M costs. More hull to deal with and larger, more expensive components to replace as needed. A big jump from Tony's gas powered F series. At the 2002 Trojan Rendezvous at Pirates Cove in Stuart, FL, I spent some time ab...

we added a layer of the thick soundown described above. Made the sieseld quieter than the gas engines.

THe only downside is the weight, makes the hatches heavy too.

We attached ours with stainless steel hex screws and large flat "fender" washers

Order a roll of the special tape too.

what do you estimate the annual costs for operation and maintenance?

How many hours are you putting on your boat and can you justify the expense based on the time you use her?
