My vacuum swicth seems to be bad as well. We do the same routine. Does anyone have a larger holding tank under the fwd berth? I'm pretty sure I can get a better one in there as I have seen some pretty extensive tank listings. I think the problem will be getting it into the forwad cabin. I was also t...

I would have done the same thing. Boats break and you have to deal with it. When I bought my Trojan, I worked out a trade for the boat I had. The boats were about 30 mils apart so someone suggested I drive my old boat down and bring the new boat back. I refused for the same reason you are not taking...

RWS, Thanks for the response and thanks for the wiring diagrams This model originally had an purisan\electrosan system associated with it. I need to do more research on the piping runs but I have a vaccuum pump with what loosk likes an accumulator. The accumulator has a pressure switch on it (which ...

Holding Tank on 10 meter mid cabin express

My 10 meter was retrofitted with a holding tank under the queen berth. The tank has 12 gal written on it. I don't have the exact size but it seems that I could get a larger one in there. It aslo seems to fill quickly. I would think with a vacuflush head, even 12 gal would last a little while. Any 10...

Thanks Todd,

Dave sent me the manual from his express so I'm in pretty good shape there. I would be interested in a copy of your wiring diagrams as I suspect they may be different for the mid cabin.

I'm still amazed at how different the mid cabin is from the rest.

Yorklyn, btw did you boat come with a manual? I'm realy curious to see if the manuals are different as well. Dave was kind enough to send me a copy of his manaul (87 express), but it doesn't explicitly mention the mid cabin version in there.

OK, I see the difference in the side exhausts now. Those are wild. I assume that they are below the waterline? Are they quiet?

I too am really surpised at how different the boats are.

I think I have the side exhausts on the mid cabin. They are located right at the waterline in the aft corners. (Outboard the dual fuel tanks). All the other items sound correct

Dave, I got the manual, thank yuo very much! Now, I noticed that the manual doesn't sepcify the mid cabin express separately. It mentions the express, Sedan, Express Aft Cabin Sedan Aft Cabin. It does give model numbes of 330 and 335 for the express. I wonder if one is the mid cabin version? Does an...

Wow what a lot of work. I recently bought the mid cabin model and I am surpised at the difference in construction. Dave form Chicago sent me a copy of the owner's manual from his 87 express and I noticed that they do not mention the mid cabin express in the manal. I wonder if it has a different manu...

Dave, thanks, I sent you a message.

He did not have the manual. He never got it when He bought the boat in 2000. I suspect it got destroyed or never turned over.

Took the boat out in a little bit of snotty water. The boat blasted through the waves, we got wet though :)

Trojan 10 meter mid cabin express manual

Hello, I am a new Trojan owner, a 1986 10 meter mid cabin express. I received a large binder with a ton of manuals for all the equipment, however there was no manual for the boat itself. I assume there was one? I am contacting the seller as he has a bunch of stuff at his house he is giving me, but I...
