Ross you can run the bulb in line no proplem with a non-inline pump . I put on one mine when I had the pick up proplem and I have the hi-flow inline pump . I would put it before your first filter , that way it real easy to fill/prime the new filters . Its much easier to push the fuel thru the filter...

Ross, first for priming Install a outboard pimeing bulb in the fuel line be for you first filter . not only is the a great way to prime the filters .It also is a easy way to see if there is a proplem pulling fuel from the tank. thats how I found a broken pick up tube on my boat . it works much bette...

For a 150k mine comes with a trojan flag and diesels , hell you can have my truck too

Look for a wire in the harness rubbed thru , if it lookes ok trace the wire and find out what it goes to and check that part for a short .

I would hire a diver to clean the running gear , cheak with other boaters at your marina to see who they use . when its clean then you can see the rpm its turning , Then you will know if you need to change props . you may be able to re work the old ones . I have used bay propeller they do good work ...

It does need to be proped right for sure . But it its been a few months it sure could have a dirty bottom . dont take long round here and if its proped wrong it will even be worse

Ross , I believe the marine 318 was rated at 225hp (4bl)If I remember correctly , the ford 302 was the low power option at 188 hp on the F30 I had and the 318 was the high power at 225hp (1977) .( 351 were put in ) the car engines where lower rated .
