One quick tip for you, on the cut edges, sand them nice and smooth as any ragged edges, or sharp bits can start cracks.

Re: Few questions. Setting carbs / New windows
I spoke to soon lol. After running them at idle about 10 minutes. Now the prveiously good engine died and will not stay running at anything under 1000 rpm Old Carbs are very difficult to get right, sounds like you have identified the problem carb and it sounds like there might be something floating...

+1 on the Good, installed one with their bow roller, worked flawlessly, quality pieces, nice people ,seems to me there was a thread about how to mount one near the anchor locker. Maybe a search might show something.

Re: Wind Turbine placement on 1975 Trojan F30
He ain’t the only one. When I used to consume a lot of rum, I too thought about putting a wind turbine on an F30! Those turbines are not that expensive. Now sans rum, solar panels are the way to go!!!!! Yup, and also the panels are silent, have you ever been near someone with one of those turbines ...

Transoms are not Cored on F boats I would us 5200 myself ( some hate it others love it ) The devil's glue...... I use it on all my underwater fittings. Don't see the point of anything else where water can get into the boat. The exhaust is right at the water line (mines Partly under ) Great stuff . ...

Re: Posting Photos for the Forum
I have always done it this way cause I can't figure any of the others out. Just email the pics to yourself , that way they can be resized to fit the forum, then just save them to desktop or what ever , then you can upload from there to the forum.

Try a regular hydraulic repair shop, you never know it might just be a standard off the shelf piece, can't hurt.
I had that stuff, took it all off and replaced with the bennett retrofit kit.

Re: 1974 F32 110V Breakers
My guess is the 30 is the stove, one branch probably includes the charger, one more branch, one for the water heater and thats four.In all these years though, someone will have been in there, you really have no way of telling until you do the detective work.Do you have the electric heaters as well ? Pl...

Re: 36 Tri cabin Battery Charger
A question. If an old dumb charger that was 30amps had its three legs connected, would the charge be portioned out as 10/10/10 no matter what.I do realize that you would never get all 30 but for the sake of example, Then if there were only two legs connected, would that be 15/15 and so on.Now if tha...

Re: 1972 F-36 port motor problems
So after reading the latest, do you still have the mechanical fuel pump on the engine as well as an electric pump ? These pumps do get tired and the pump rod inside that drives the pump sometimes wears down , reducing the pumps ability to keep up.A little more info for you.
