We keep our boat in a canal and I use Pettit Trinidad SR. It ia a hard paint but I have not hauled out in four years. ( It is time and is on my schedule) The paint is expesive, but good. I do have a diver clean the bottom every 90 days or so

I have never used my shore water hook up. When we go to a marina for a long week-end, I use the boat potable tank and fill as needed.

The right boat and lots of cash. A single diesel trawler is best with shallow draft and low air draft. A couple moored at NAS Pensacola just did it and they loved the trip. He thinks now with the price of fuel it will cost $50,000.00. I went from Grand Haven Michigan to the Gulf Coast in the old boa...

I have Crusader 454xl's. No fuel injection. On plane at 3200-3400 RPMs, (24MPH) my Garmin fuel flo screen says I'm burning 26 GPH. At 1500 RPM's (8MPH) towing the J-14 Skiff, the Garmin says fuel burn is 6 GPH. I like the slow speed, half the fun is getting there!! IF... the slow speed don't cause m...

I have a 95 350 express and love it. The Carver site is not active. I have not checked it in awhile. The 350 express is great for the ICW and bayous in NW Florida. Not to good in following seas. (small rudders) It is a safe boat to walk around, lots of head room in the cabin. The engine room is tigh...

If the duck bills dont fix it, check the pressure switch on the vacuum tank and all hose clamps. Could be a air leak.

HORN WIRES

1995 350 exp. I have to replace the horn, but the wires are to short to re-splice the new horn. No slack to pull :( I don't know what has to be removed to get to the underside of the horn.
