Re: Hot Coil

Do you have the old style round blaster coils,if so there is no way 12 v can fry them ---- check all your grounds --- MSD has had some bad stuff of late--- I went thru a number of digital boxes ,one after the other that were terrible and finally went back to old analog and all issues stopped---- may...

Re: Another 6.5 MCCK question

Here is one possible explanation for what you experienced---- hot air and high humidity could be causing a richer mixture which the gen appears to like--- cooler dry air= more air available with less water in air which would lean it out a bit, maybe enuf to make it hunt at idle---- I have to say I d...

Sorry on all counts it was on the boat when I got it--- I thought I would show you what the black looked like-...

Re: KNOCK KNOCK ?

Larry, see if you can isolate the sound if you can to get a better idea of where to look---- get a two or three foot piece of wooden mop handle or better yet the same length of 1/2 " plastic pipe--- with this you can listen to different areas of the engine ,just touch the areas and listen to the...

Re: 78 f32 need some help identifying

Looking at your photos it looks like your fuel filters have the plastic bottoms. If that is true you might want to change them to the steel bottoms. The plastic ones really shouldn't be used inside a gas engine room. Summer storm--- Thanks for noticing that,I will be correcting that pronto--- just ...

Re: A small project or what have I gotten into

Looks real nice, just like it came that way--- as for the holes ,my guess would be the aft line guides-- what did you fasten the cleats to ,I like that idea--- one other ? Where can I get a set of those two rung steps that can be seen in the background , are they original trojan?--- Mike
