Re: Deck repair option Injectadeck
Being a 2 parts the foam expands and cures quickly. I clean out the 3/16 hole and fill it with epoxy. Thanks for the info and answers on this product. I may try it on the future. I just done want to run into any lumps from the application as it expands and moves. There is a danger of that so you ne...

Re: Deck repair option Injectadeck
Looking good. I’ve repaired sections of the bow deck by removing the top fg layer with a vibrating saw, replaced the punky balsa core with like material, epoxy coat the balsa, overcoat the balsa and replace the deck section, saving the nonskid pattern. Ran a thin bead of West epoxy in the saw lines...

Vent for? Fuel, holding tank, water tank or intake air? What year? Photo? Is it leaking inside or out side the hull?

Deck repair option Injectadeck
Like many other older boats I found my Trojan suffering from soft bow disease. Did not look forward to cutting the top glass open, So I looked at different options. Living with it? Paying someone? After much research, I decided on "Injectadeck". Reviews were mixed, but found the negative o...

Re: Repowering with 4.3L V6?
The OP did not do the repower. My thoughts I don't see why it would not work. Being fuel-injected you should see a slight gain in fuel economy. They may have to work harder to get on plane as maybe less tourqe. The main issue I see would be some vibration. The 4.3 is not as smooth as a V8 even the o...

Yes it's possible. If stayed engaged it would draw more than the altnator could put out. Was it burned up?

Re: 89 mid cabin paralleling solenoid
How do you have the DC to DC charger hooked up? Has a battery switch been hooked up to the batteries and is it on all? Recheck all your wiring.

Re: Aquatemp Air conditioner help needed
I would just contact any good marine AC guy. The basics should be the same regardless of brand. I don't think Aquatemp is still around. I also don't believe it was installed by Trojan as they used Cruisair and Lunaire. Check with your marina to see who they recommend.
