Re: Who has been using their Trojan?

We went out today and check our new radar and autopilot out. They are working great, now we just have to learn all the quirks in using it. We did have a problem. One engine would not start. It was the start switch. I believe finding a replacement might be quite a challenge. No one seems to have it.....

I really don't know how much hydrogen it produced. We would go through about a gallon of water in 4 hours or less. One must remember with all that bubbling that moisture had to be moved up into the house. Unless it drips back down into the unit it will go to the discharge and then drip into the bild...

I do believe that the hydrogen did help clean the engine. I think it would be a viable system if it was a large enough unit and designed correctly. Ours was not big enough and I did not like the idea of thewater vapor getting to the engine if it did. I think there still is a lot to research on it. I...

That is what I am thinking. It will have to be compressed and injected to work correctly. If you are going to run on hydrogen then run on it and remove the other fuel.
I think GM is going to sell a car overseas that runs on water.

By reading the label I see that you have two 30 amp circuits. If that is true then I think all you have to do is balance the load on the panel that your generator feeds. That is where the Amp probe comes in to play or you can read the watts etc on the appliance and calculate it. I think you might fi...

Hydrogen power

A couple years ago we installed hydrogen power for our boat. It seemed to work pretty good at the time. Over time I found several things that I did not like about the installation and equipment. One thing I found out the water reservori was not big enough for a days run. Not fun adding water when th...

First think I would do is go to Harbor Frieght and buy thier amproble. They have one for around 10 dollars(when on sale) It is a digital one and works pretty darn good. I use it and I like it. That way you can amp each circuit and see what is going on. You can also amp each appliance and get a actua...

Rudee inlet can be tough to get into at times. It seems every year we lose a boat there and people drown there. It took great timing to come in on that video.

Our 11 meter takes the rough water pretty well. It can throw a spray over the top when the wind is up. We do have diesel which I think will make for a better ride.

Looks like a bad connection or broken wire to me. Here is how I would trouble shoot it. I would go to the light with a wire from the battery negative and take the wire and touch the negative side of the light with the wire. If the light works then you know everthing to that point is OK. ( make sure ...

I always try tapping the screw driver with a hammer to free up the screw. or you can buy the screw remover tool to back out the screws. Definately eitherway tap the screws to help loosen the corrosion.

This is interesting. I will have to check our 11 meter to see how it works. I never thought of it as having a relay. It probably uses the horn relay. I am not sure but will check it out.

That is good news. Thanks, When we went to get the bottom painted we stirred up the bottom pretty good. I found our air conditioner strainer completely filled with mud. Our main engine strainers were as clean as a whistle. I thin that whole area is slowly filling in.

I found and got the manual for our onan. It also shows where the zinc is located. It is located on the back near the bottom on the heat exchanger. I could not see it but I found it by feeling for it. Glad to have that done.
