Be sure to check the fuel filter at the rear of the engines too, they are inside of the metal canister. Often overlooked, this is the filter between the pump and the carb inlet filter. I change mine several times a year...

The beam is 13'. The flybridge surround, ladder and console will need to be removed in most cases. I have done mine. The two of us did the removal in 2 days. You will need to label all harnesses, wiring from fuse panel and cables. Yours might be doable in one day with the right help. Search F32 tran...

The Rochester Quadra-jet has an inherent problem with the fuel bowl well plugs leaking. They will leak fuel from these plugs and into the manifold. This causes excessive priming to get the engines fired back up again. The cure for this is to remove carburetor base, invert and JB Weld these plugs to ...

I'll also say ballast. Chrysler was famous for these issues. You should carry spares...they're cheap enough.
