Forward bilge pump??
F32 owners do you have water in the bilge outside of the head (ours has a panel that comes up). I thought I read something about a forward bilge but can only find one in stearn or is water being prevented from going to stearn???

Re: Mid stringers rotten and water in cabin
We have her in the water (when it was out no water leaked out of the front from hull). We got lots of rain and the forward bilge has water again. Someone said something about a forward bilge pump...where would that be or how tough is it to add one?

Re: help with installing carpet on stairs
We just did our salon with foam backed carpet from Menards and used carpet tape to hold it down (which comes up easy for an oil change as it turns out). Our stairs are wood but think Menards had everything included staples.

Can anyone tell me what you call the hinge and latch you can install on your wood stern rail (it opens so you can in easily from the swim platform)? I have searched and searched even went into our local West Marine with no luck. https://plus.google.com/photos/105792375567497506213/albums/61536183041...

Re: ready to splash
PS ours has a solid raling which makes it difficult to get in from the swim platform...did you add the hinges, etc (whatever that is called) on your rail? Where do you get those brackets and hinges?

Re: Sea Trials today!
The boat had been up on blocks and there was water in the cabin bilge. Once in the water I assumed that would be pumped out but it was still there after sea trial????

Re: Sea Trials today!
Compression was fine (always check with a fully charged battery), high winds and 4-5 footers on Sturgeon Bay but she was great. Port engine was popping but they will get the fixed. Could not get the electronics on the fly bridge to work is there a switch we missed??) but the stove, water, and frig a...

Sea Trials today!
Taking a 78 F32 out today for sea trials and hoping it goes well. A have a surveyor friend with me but anything in particular with these boats I should look for? Also hoping when we re-take the compression tests with fully charged batteries and after running her that all is well. If it is not what h...

Re: Mid stringers rotten and water in cabin
@ gitchisum good catch, yes it is. We have an accepted offer still subject to sea trials. Compression tests started good but they got lower but the batteries were drained too which I understand can have an effect on the compression tests. Will re-test after sea trial and full charge. We are hoping t...
