F-32 Screen door replacement
Anyone have to replace their screen door on their F-32? Mine got demolished by a friend who thought it was open. Can't find a vendor with black frame. Has anyone painted an aluminum frame?

Re: Why the &*!@ own 2 boats?
I own my two boats the F32 and the Mercury inflatable because it is a hell of a lot cheaper than mental therapy. I don't know what therapists charge but I'm damn sure it would be more than the cost of my boat, winter storage, summer slip fees, and fuel combined per year. So that is how I justify it....

Re: Frost Laws For Hauling Boat
Well basically the frost laws or weight restrictions will be over on April 17 so my boat goes in on the 18th. As the ground thaws in Michigan, the roads can't handle heavy loads until the frost in the ground below the roadbed has melted. That's how pot holes develop so the counties limit weights per...

Frost Laws For Hauling Boat
While I waited for the snow and ice to melt so I could launch my boat. I finally wanted to launch her on April 11, 2014. Well now I am being told they have weight restrictions on the roads until the frost melts under the roadways. This may not be for another two weeks. When will winter finally give ...

Oil Change
What I do for oil changes is have the boat yard put my boat in the travel lift and pull up on one side only in the sling and tip the boat sideways so that all the oil runs out of the oil filter connection. Usually a 45 to 50 degree tip will do it. They they just tip it the other way for the other en...

manifolds
Well with 2000 hours on the engines I would run away from this boat then. Sounds like she was used a lot.
Repower may be an option for about $8,000
There are quite a few of the F-32's out there so keep looking and another one even better will show up.
Best wishes

Very Good Progress
Heiner, Very good progress on your F-32. I am also the product of German immigrants to Canada and then to the United States. My last name is Shouldice which is the Canadian version of Schultheiss which is the correct and origin of my last name. You may be familiar with the Pilsner beers from Schulth...

Water in engine
Well now is the time to tell the owner you are interested in buying as is for $9,000. Or he can waste his time trying to find someone who won't do a survey. You can get new manifolds and risers installed and if the engines are low enough hours it might be fine. That way you can still get a great boa...

Through Hull
It is easy to replace an above the water through hull. It's just a threaded shaft with a big nut on the inside. Hopefully he did not seal it with 5200 or it will be harder to remove. Just get a new one the same size and install it in the old hole and do the reverse of the removal. A lot of the older...

Toilet
I would just replace with a newer Raritan toilet that has its own macerator and it will pump well over the 12" height. It has a backflow built in and runs off fresh water lines plumbed to the toilet. You will need an airlock if that was taken out with the old unit but my guess is it is still th...
