On second thought, the carb fuel inlet is the connection I am unsure of.

Spring Project 154: Carburetor Upgrade
Ok smart friends.... First, no opinions are needed about Edelbrock 1409's vs Rochester Quadrajets. I'm swapping to the Edelbrocks. I have all of the parts except the fittings for the A1 fuel line. That's where I could use some help. The steel line gets tossed from the fuel pump to the carb. A new A1...

Re: engine synchronization gauge
Hello Everyone, I have a 1989 10.8M Trojan International. The VDO Engine Synchronization Gauge sticks, meaning it works some of the time. But at times it looks wrong and you have to "knock" on the gauge to make it work again. I have checked all the connections on the back of the gauge and...

Re: 10 Meter Mid Cabin Owners Check Your Vents
Great post Bob!
That's what the inside of my vent box looked like. Rotted and disgusting. I was able to rebuild the box area an re-install the blower hoses. Then, after speaking to Bob, he and John did a great job of getting the boxes fabricated up to keep things dry. Thank you Bob!

Wema is the only way to go. Give them a call. They have great customer service. It should cost around $70. You need a 153054 SSS/SSL and the length should be 22”. BobCT does have a post about it. Just gotta drill a hole for access.

Everyone's favorite subject...VACUFLUSH!
Hey Trojan Friends - First, let me start by saying, no I do not want to change/switch from a vacuflush system! I love my vacuflush. I have an old Sealand 806 model in my 1989 Mid Cabin. It's given me problems over the years with leaking (think bodily fluids on the floor) and with an inability to kee...

Re: POWER PANEL UPGRADE FOR 12m
Yeah, I get that! Oil (in the engine) and a working head definitely take precedence. It was a lot of work but the layout is done if anyone needs it, I can point them to the place I had these made. The one on the right is unique to my boat, pretty sure I have the only mid cabin that came w/o a gener...

Re: 10 Meter Mid Cabin "Refresh"
Sometimes we make mistakes... I've been dealing with what I thought was a bit of lifter noise on my port motor. It has been going on since last season and I didn't have a whole lot of urgency to resolve it... Well, I had a fellow amateur mechanic board my boat last week. He, like I, loves to stick h...

Re: trojan 10 meter aft cabin 1989
Here are a couple of shots that might help. The first one is of the filter when i had my motors out. The second one is of the engine compartment with all hatches removed... The only other thing that I was thinking might be in the way would be a closed cooling system. I am raw water cooled... pardon ...

Re: trojan 10 meter aft cabin 1989

Re: trojan 10 meter aft cabin 1989
thanks for that the starboard filter seems impossible to get at and based upon the amount of rust seems as if it has not been changed in years if ever anyone have any tips on removing it? Yes... First, shut off the fuel manually at the crossover. This is located in the center engine compartment, mo...
