Thanks Paul,

Unfortunatly... the market is in the dumps. In the last year, I've seen some real nice, quality boats at prices that are just ridiculously low... and aren't moving.

Great time to be a buyer.... not so much if your a seller.

Left coast mentality ? Hey.... how about price it for its true value and hold out for your price? If you under price it, then keep slashing your price every 2 weeks until it sells, you simply perpetuate the absurdity that causes people to think a perfectly good F32 like Willie's is only worth 10K!!...

The F-32 can have a tendency to bow steer if the bow is overloaded...does the F-36 do this?

could be true OR, perhaps the counter guy didn't want interest in the boat for his own reasons??? If I were interested in a boat that someone was bad mouthing, I'd certianly ask very pointed questions about the stated deficiencies and gauge the owners responses. If they seemed legit, I'd even look t...

I've done this and have a few recommendations. 1) stick with a marine engine versus trying to marinize a non marine variant. 2) This is a big project that requires a lot of commitment and planning. The devil is in the details. The engine, transmission, shaft /prop end up being easy decisions IF you'...

A gotta agree with Paul. Wave height is only part of the equation. I'm sure the 31 could handle 30 foot seas with the right period. But spend 3-4 hours in true 3-4 foot, short period seas and you'll understand. OR- how about 4-6 foot fast following seas? Not fun and not the best boat for those condi...

Bert 31's are going cheap now too. Saw a nice twin deisel the other day for 60K. Gas ones even less - including Bert 33's and 35's. There was a nice twin diesel Bert 42 here that could have been bought for 60K! I agree with the above statements- no reason any properly maintained boat can't go 30-60 ...

Yes- depending on the age and technology of your engine, oil choice is important. ZDDP has been steadily decreasing and almost non existant in many newer oils for emmisions reasons. It is beleived by many that older engines, especially those with valvetrains that were desinged when ZDDP content was ...

Of course there is this 76 F32 with diesels that is going for 110K...
WOW- 110K with Detroits?? The market here is just crap. My boat wouldn't fetch half of that and I wouldn't trade mine for that one.

Sorry- didn't believe in his or McCains message.

Supported Paul in the primary and voted 3rd party in the election.

it was a great day! I could hardly believe it. But, real change will depend more on whether the dems "got the message" than it will on 1 guy... regardless of how good he is. There's still a democratic majority in both houses so yeah- we can filibuster and keep them from shafting us too muc...

Murph- 39 KPH is around 24 MPH or 21 knots. A little low if you truely have 440 HP unless- the boat is really heavy or the bottom is not clean. To answer your question- factory propping for 225hp with 1.5 gears was 16x16 3 blade with super cupping. This was probably too much pitch for anything but a...
