i have a Y Valve with a lock for the tanks, passes all inspections and makes sure the waste is diverted to the tanks instead of overboard.

I dont see why anyone would tell you that its a problem? all it does is mulch down the "waste" into smaller pieces so that the pump out doesnt get clocged and is more liquid like. how if you are talking with a direct overboard discharge, then yes that is against the law, if its from the ta...

I kinda had no choice on the aft becoming storage as i have the twin bunks back there, not the most comfy sleeping arrangements, however does make for a good closet.

My girl and i have been living on our 74 tri for over a year now, roomy enough for us, just had to convert the back bedroom into a walkin closet, otherwise works very well.

i have a plan to redo mine as wel however my layout is a tad bit different.... i priced it out and have some plans laid out to make it myself however honestly if rather just pay someone to do this if the price ir decent....
