what year and where are you located? any pics you can provide the forum? was she neglected prior to your taking ownership? i may be interested in some items from the vessel, provided they are a matchup.

Re: Why the &*!@ own 2 boats?
thanks for the plug rick. appreciate it. i think we are a unique bunch of folks we trojan owners. aside from the chris craft commander group, and the occasional hatteras owner, we are just obsessed with these ladies. maybe it's because they are an orphaned brand. maybe it's the timeless design and ...

Re: Why the &*!@ own 2 boats?
i was very much in your situation, sans the two boats, a few years ago. i had my beautiful tri cabin that just sat at the dock.........why? because i had a **&^%!!! partner who didn't contribute one iota to her. oh sure, when it came time to go for a short cruise, with narry a contribution to t...

RARE 1982 TROJAN DELTA CONIC CENTER CONSOLE
now this is a pretty cool machine. if i had the spare $$, i might just buy her to run around in. i knew trojan made a small center console in the 1970's (the marlin?), but i never have seen this one before. enjoy........

Re: FAULTY SHORE WATER HOOKUP?
hey guys, aaron here. still have not had a chance to swap out the old boat side unit. i've either been flying 4 day trips, or the weather has not been cooperating. i also need an extra pair of hands on the inside, as the PO installed it with screws AND nuts. why? i have no idea. the screws are roug...

it's always good when life returns to the boat. next up for me is a replacement shore water hookup. at least for now, things are status quo.

Re: part name by lazarette seacock F32
I thought I closed my lazarette seacock for winter but apparently did not and sure enough I have a water leak from the burst element beside the seacock. I have a picture from the top and the unit under the green top is what is broken, allowing water to pour thru. I tried to take off the hoses besid...

Re: lazarette seacock item burst - what is it?
I thought I closed my lazarette seacock for winter but apparently did not and sure enough I have a water leak from the burst element beside the seacock. Here is a picture showing the top of what is broken. There is a bottle/container underneath the green device that has a crack and when the seacock...

Re: Teak finish
personally, i'm not a fan of covering the teak. i like the weathered look from time to time, and for me, its easy to clean back to the nice tan colour. when i stripped my swim platform three years ago, i sanded it down to new wood, then coated it with 4 coats of basic acitone. yep, acitone. a guy a...

WHAT IN THE NAME OF MARINE ENGINEERING IS THIS?
hey all. brad and i went to the bay bridge boat show yesterday and had a great time. out of all the vessels there, our favourite was the DEFEVER 46 pilot house trawler. brad loved the galley and all the storage areas, and i loved the engine room, complete with workbench and tool drawers. though it ...

Re: Unknown Items
hi christian. whatever you do, DO NOT use a wrench to turn the T handle. in 2006 a mechanic tried to do that to mine on my f-32 and the handle broke close to the seacock. a***hat. needless to say, it sped up the replacement of them. glad i did though. these are the original groco valves and can be ...

Re: Stabil 360
at the recommendation of my mechanic john, i've always used the MDR product E-ZORB. i've been very pleased with it. i also use the MDR STOR N START for winter storage. again, both, great products.
