Re: Water Leaks. Ughhh...
Jamie - Is this the area that you're dealing with?
This was windshield leak, ran through and found its way. ( this is an 88, which by the way is getting the flybridge re-cored this winter)- Sun Sep 09, 2018 8:44 pm

Flybridge Core project
Pulled the boat and winterized. Had an impulse to start the re-core project on my fly bridge floor. Thought I would find the first layer pretty soggy but found that both layers of core were bad. Should be fun! Photo is after digging out both layers in a 4 x 8 section. Think I will use Tric...

Condolences for you and the family. Hope Cruise Control can end up with an owner that loves it as much as he did!

Could be a 25 Sea Raider rather than an F 25 in 1972

I would not have expected the best economy to be 26mph!
Is this a hull design condition? very different from my F-32

Re: Icy thoughts
Meanwhile there are 8 ships waiting to load in Duluth MN to make it out through the Soo locks before they close on Jan 15. Imagine working on a laker when it's 35 below zero and 40 knot winds.
Thank god for these guys keeping our economy running!

Re: Interesting Trojan Story
The worst sea state for the F32 is not really big seas (10 - 15 footers). It is in fact close, steep six to eight footers. That's where I've been scared multiple times and almost became a statistic twice. In a steep, short wavelength, following sea the F32 will turn 90 degrees, broach and roll in t...

Fuel Manifold
Has anyone replaced the brass shutoffs on their fuel distribution manifold? We have an 88 F32, and have a sticky valve and a stuck valve. Thinking about ordering from Anderson Brass, and near as I can tell I need part # M675C-6L ( 3/8 NTPF and 3/8 Tube ) My manifold looks like below: fuel valves.JPG...

Re: F28 Thru Hull Fittings
Is the thru hull above or below the water line?
If it is above, could be the scenario you are describing. If below, it could be a disconnected Y valve from head to comply with fresh water regs.

Re: Teak Deck Underlayment
Covering the plywood in resin is good advice. Better plan than using Red Coat. I used that in my shower under the tile, and would still rather use resin for the boat.

PO had put car parts in my Port motor. Bent rod, cracked head. Pulled both motors this winter and rebuilt, so now I know what I have!

Re: Crusader Closed Cooling System
I have seen other F-32's with big blocks, but they have been installed by owner. Did F-32's ever come with 454's from the factory?
A friends has a pair of 460 fords in his F-32. cruises nicely!
