Brett,

Great stuff.

Those Internationals were and still are really something.

Aside from the colors and patterns, they remain very contemporary, nearly 30 years after they were first designed.

I'll second the motion on the need for more pictures!

Beautiful boat. Someone took the time, effort andfunds to do a really nice update and upgrade on her. THe wood veneer salon bulkheads and the port side seating arrangement are one of a kind. I've saved a few of your photos into my wishbook of ideas for my own cockpit and interior upgrade which will ...

Don't be scared by owning an orphaned boat brand.

This quality manufacturer has a loyal following and parts are still available.

From the looks of things, I think we can expect a few more brands to become extinct inthe next few months.

The previous owner on mine used spray silicone, however I have not used any to date. Perhaps what he used has remained as a residual over the last 7 years, I do not know. Keeping those tracks clean and free of debris or sticky liquid spills is also important. I believe that the "appliance doors...

there's something to be said for mating the best engine to a particular hull.

the range of horsepower, Weight and fit (height/width/legnth) are important to a good marriage

A bad choice could end up in a miserable existence or a divorce.

You might want to do some investigation on the marinized Cat 3126 series. I believe there were some serious ongoing issues with the 3116? ALso look at the total weight vs what you currently have. Anyway it's worth some research before you gat married. As far as diesels go, although there is some var...

Compared to other hull designs of the same length, the 10 Meter is superior in handling and her chines are effective inkeeping the spray down, however there are limitations.

While these boats have tremendous sea keeping abilities, it really depends on what you mean by rough seas.

Given the location, you probably have the 242 gallon tank. You can easily have a new custom curtain made locally. I am not aware of any graphics/logos/bootstripe packages being available, however if you are going to have something made, set up costs are high and production costs are low. It would be...

These boats are 20+ years old. Take nothing for granted whatsoever, especially with the electrical system. I found solid wire roamex and wire nut connections to my factory cockpit wetbar. This covered all the outlets, referigerator and icemaker. We melted the outlet, lucky it wasn't anything more. I...

The first generation Internationals had a single tank, mounted under the cockpit floor, just behind the lazarette. This tank held 242 gallons.

Later models, especially those based on the mid cabin floorplan and design featured twin tanks. I do not know the capacity of these models.

I'm out of town right now but let me see if I can have someone snap a photo of that panel today.

I will need an e-mail address to send it.
