Re: Trim tabs or ZipWakes?

I don't know of any Trojans with them. However I have a friend with them on a 42 ocean. He likes them over regular trim tabs. Not sure if its auto system. With that said it would be much cheaper to increase your tab size.

Re: New Tricabin Owner

The Aft wall was plywood and made to be removable. You do have the aft engine correct? Later models had the engines under the salon floor. Aft decks were known to leak many owners fiber glass the aft decks to fix the leaks many are rotted. Do you have the model number? Its located on plate on or by ...

Re: New Tricabin Owner

Any outside photos? Looks like the back wall was repaired at some point. I am not sure but thinking it was plywood. as far as the hours difference the can be several causes. Bad hour meter or its wiring? Engine or trans was inop for along time or broke down a lot. As far as what the go for? Seen the...

Re: Fixing up my 440s

Now onto the nut and bolts. How big of raw water inlets will I need to cool these power plants. And banks marine is producing this motor at 575 hp/429kw for pleasure craft duty. I’m calling them on the way home to get information. Banks should have guidelines for installing their engines. They will...

Re: Hvac ducting on a 1987 10 meter sedan how is it run

On the salon AC you have a remote condenser in the ceiling of the salon so no ducting. On the forward unit , it is self-contained and installed in "closet" You have a vent(s) directly out of the "closet" with no ducts. And you also have ductwork/tubes running to the V-berth front...

Should be 1 3/8 now mine where changed when repowered. Did you ever check the ID numbers?

Re: Fixing up my 440s

The boat has 20x21s props with 1.91:1 gears now. I could never get above 3500 with the 440s. I figured 1:1 with the same props after the new motors? I’m going from 330hp and 375lbs tq. To 500hp and 850 lbs tq. The max torque on the 500hp Duramax is 750, not 850 on the chart I found. so you 750 at t...
