Re: Started Back Deck repair today
The pics with the beam through the window is from last year when we pulled the motors, they just fit through through the door with taking out the spark plugs I had planned to cut out the rot sections, which turn out to be most of it . I plan to glass the whole thing in. Will try to restore the origi...

I think I lost my Port side Transmission What a nightmare
We decided to take the boat out of town this weekend and got a slip at a marina there for the night. We come in around 6 pm 25 knot winds, I pulled up to our assigned slip and pulled in turning to port I was half way in the slip and the wind start pushing the back end out so I went reverse starboard...

Re: Loose Steering
I have a smaller 20 foot boat that has tabs and I use them all the time. When I first got this trojan someone not sure who it was had told me that the tabs where a after market item and that you dont need them on a boat this size, so I think that stuck in my head so I never really worried about them...

generator rebuild
Well since I have got my engines all dialed in and running great, I guess its time to move on to the generator. It seems to have a mind of its own, it does start when a load is applied, I can sometimes get it to start after flipping the on and off switch or the generator to shore power switch severa...

Emergency Preparedness
Hello Everyone,
I was going through the required emergency equipment list today that is required by law and I was just looking for some input on what other items people consider as must haves on the boats. Maybe there are even a few lists some people might have of what they carry .

Re: fuel tank replacement 1978 tri cabin
I had 2 newer ( less then 400 hrs ) installed over the winter 270 crusaders they run perfect at idle and out of the marina but as soon as we are running for a bit and bouncing around some the one motor starts to back fire then will start stalling. So they are figuring that there is crap in the botto...
