Re: Distributors Chry 318 and Crusader 270

I purchased my Billet Pertronix distributors through Summit racing and double checked with pertronix.com support to be sure correct. They were for my Crusaders 270 (same one for the big block) They offer them for 318 Chryslers also. There is a difference chev vs chry and that is that the cam gear is...

Crusader 270 fuel line leaking

Anyone had the inverted flare fitting on the steel fuel line from fuel pump to carby leak. It is double flared. I am thinking the fix will be with 3/8 copper using the steel ending fittings and of course use double flares. thoughts, I like the steel line but has some rust and think copper will seal ...

Re: Starter Humming

Look through inspection window or with starter out. Ring gear should solid against the shoulder of the flywheel if any gap it will need to be repaired. Ring gears are available, flywheel not available new.

Re: Starter Humming

The ring gear is on the flywheel but the starter comes from rear of engine in marine configuration. The ring gear is pressed on flywheel from the front end of the engine like it was to be used on a standard clutch flywheel which is what is what it is. Normally the starter would come from front of en...

Re: Mansfield Toilet System

I put new similar toilets from West, replumed with hard PVC, and each head is pumped to black water by separate macerator pump. Just a switch in the head to run macerator as needed.
