Very nice job!
We are looking at options to mount our 11 1/2' inflatable and not seeing much we like. Any chance you can post a photo of the mounts without the dinghy in place? I have been thinking about fabricating something myself to get a good solution.

Re: stuck in the boathouse
Sorry to hear that! There might be something to loading the boat until it sits low enough to get under the door. Between filling the bilge and adding weight low down, you might be able to sneak it out. By calculating the volume of water you need to displace (area of hull cross section at 12" ab...

Re: stuck in the boathouse
Any chance you could move the boat within the boathouse or remove a roof panel? Might be easier if you can get permission.

Our slip is nearby, so if anyone is interested, I could take a quick look next week.

Moving right along!
Did I see a VT sweatshirt in the background? My wife and I both went there and actually got married in the chapel on the drillfield.

Re: Oil & Water Restoration Thread
Thanks, I needed that. It's nice to know that we all suffer from too much of our own bad luck. Sometimes it feels like the boat's world is against you. I've gotten to the point that my wife is saying if it floats, runs, and drives, she's good. Danger Will Robinson! That is how I got to my p...

Re: Oil & Water Restoration Thread
I can certainly sympathize with that. Went to the boat for a day and a half with a long list of tasks to work on. Only did about half of them. Spent some unplanned time replacing a cleat on the dock that had rusted out bolts. It would have taken much less time if I didn't drop the cleat off the dock...

Re: F36 tri-cabin speed
I wonder how that would work on our boat -- we seem to be correctly propped at 18.5x19 3-blades. It makes sense to go to a larger diameter, especially since we often run at hull speed, but not sure about the 19 pitch with 4-blades, assuming we are propped correctly now.

Re: F36 tri-cabin speed
I agree with prowlersfish that your situation is quite different from ours. Your boat has a greater displacement and smaller engines, making direct comparisons difficult.larryeddington wrote:thanks, Mine is way too slow.

I never paid that much attention, but about 24-25 mph by gps, as best I recall. Once the fuel flow sensors go in, I am going to test and record data...

Re: F36 tri-cabin speed
Unless you both have the same engines and gears any comparing is useless . Big difference between a 440 turning 4000 and a 350 turning 4400 Waywego your boat calls for 20x21 or 20x20 are you sure of the prop size ? Pretty sure -- I have the Prop Scan sheets from Black dog on them. Seem small but if...
