Re: F26 stringer numbers?
Am remodeling my forward head. Port light has a sliding cover, with handle. Just a simple piece of teak cut at an angle. Took the handle off of it so I could countersink the holes a bit more. Here's a pic of the underside. Guessing your numbers look like this? Also have my aft cabin headliner down. ...

Boat model? Year?
You can buy manuals for your boat from Beacon. Highly recommended.

Tricabs are awesome. Wide flat deck all around. No ladder to tax aging knees. Bath tub, for crying out loud. Post up a pic. Where do you boat?

Re: Engine won't start - clicking from relay in battery box
Back to your OP first: By "clicking," do you mean "click," or "click click click click click?" I think you've got Prowlersfish confused...... As for the neutral switch question, you've got a wiring diagram, right? I pulled mine out. Looks like all the neutral switch doe...

Re: 318 freeze plug rusted through
OK, now let me say replacing the plug is the best option. Not to encourage other options........ A self-tapping screw plus JB Weld could be in your future. You've got to get the better of the pressure that wants out, which is prolly on the order of 15 psi. If you're looking at, err, uh, a temporary ...

Re: Engine won't start - clicking from relay in battery box
Never seen (heard?) a clicking relay that was not due to low voltage. Don't just check battery voltage, check connections for continuity. Also, check voltage at starter when cranking. If u wanna check the neutral switch, pop the cover off the shift lever box. There should be a switch there according...

Re: ignition coils
No downside. I have one old style and one electronic. Electronic one always starts sooner than the other.

Thanks Prowlersfish. We don't call it the People's Republic of Maryland for nothing!prowlersfish wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:14 pm https://chesapeakebaymagazine.com/video ... ating-ban/
Looks like MD is the only state that bans recreational boating .

Re: Covid caution for Maryland boaters
If only. Let common sense social distancing and masks prevail. I live on my boat by myself these days. If I leave the slip by myself in my own boat and don't fish, I'm a criminal. If I take a buddy fishing, we're not violating the law, even though now we are exposing each other. Go figure. Pretty su...
