Bob,
I'll have to check out the crimper
I had my cables made up. I used string to model the lengths and added 2". They worked out great.

Re: 10.8 engine blowers
Same place on the mid cabin. Port side, inder gunnel behind the exterior panel. My panel had been modified with holes to blow right through. . The blower should be blowing air OUT of the engine room with the suction located deep in the bilge. The other hoses are to introduce fresh air to the same wh...

Re: MCCK Generator
Did you get water after a few seconds? You should have water flow to keep it cool. Assuming FW cooling, your Tstat is probably 165. That leads to a 170 Op temp. Not sure if this is a diesel model or gas, but if Gas, I would rather not have the auto start feature. Good chance that the genny starts wh...

Re: MCCK Generator
If at all possible, try to cycel or blow carb cleaner through the carb if you are not going to take the bowl off. The last two times I cleaned my carb, the float area was covered with crap that had come out of the fuel. It dissolves easy enough.

Looking at a few pictures. It seems to have some tunnel, but not as deep as a Sea Ray 390 for example. http://images8.boattrader.com/resize/1/57/70/4135770_-1_20121109082414_40_0.jpg?w=640&h=480&t=1145150 http://images5.boattrader.com/resize/1/14/54/3741454_0_161120101423_12.jpg?w=640&h=...

Trojan 12 meter express
Hi all. I have a 10 meter midcabin model and am considering a bigger boat. Does anyone here have a 12 meter express? A couple of things have led me to look at them. 1. Diesel powered. From my research, I will burn approximately the same fuel per mile, maybe a little less, but cruise at 22-26 knots, ...

Re: Need some opinions on new cabinet doors from you guys.
I think they will look nice. The Color will be a nice offset with the white and I think it will give it a richer look. Could you get a sample piece of a similar wood form Home Deport or somewhere and put it up against the wall to see what you think?

Re: Another 6.5 MCCK question
Two options 1. Adjust your choke a little bit. The choke works on a bimetallic spring. Loosen the cover screws and rotate a little closed or open whichever smooths it out. 2. Adjust the idle mixture screw on the carb. A slight turn will smooth mine out. I sometimes have to tweak mine one day to the ...

Re: MCCK Generator
I have an H series so it may be a little different, but the carb is very easy to get off and clean. I would do that in any case as the generator hasn't been run in a long time. Also I believe you have a fuel filter on the bottom of the fuel pump that will rotate and pop off. Worth looking at.

Re: Mid cabin inverter install
I just saw this. I added an inverter\charger to my mid cabin. I installed 4 AGM 6V lifeline batteries under the Mid Cabin centerline space. I mounted the inverter on the aft bulkhead of the large starboard locker which gave me easy access to the electrical panel and the batteries. Worked well for 3 ...

You can also jumper the wires to a 12 v source with the outlet into a bottle or jar to catch the gas.
