Looks Great.
RWS, when I bought my boat, the PO gave me an article on adding a transom door to the 10 meters. It should be with the old paperwork if I can find it. I'm still considering doing it

Re: 10.8 Meter Express with Diesels
If the engine room is crap, why would I pay a surveyor? Clueless broker. Most Surveyor's are not as strong with mechanicals as they are with structural integrity. As my surveyor said on my survey. Once the deck and hull were determined to be in good shape, the rest is just replaceable parts dependin...

Re: Help please with manifold-any pics
Probably a little late, but the method I have used for my manifolds is to get a couple of studs that match the thread pattern for the bolts and are long enough to extend mast the manifold. Put two studs in the block, Put the gasket and manifold over the stud and put a nut on each stud to hold the ma...

Back to your issue, 1. On my Onan, there is a fuel filter\screen on the pump. May be clogged. 2. One year, I had to run the fuel pump for a couple of minutes to get fuel through the line. Took a long time to prime. I attached the fuel pump to 12 V with the outlet line off the generator until I saw f...

I wish I would have seen this when I bought mine a couple fo years ago. Coil built into the unit, easier install. Good price.

Re: h.e.i. swap info please.
I swapped mine on one of my engines with a Barr HEI conversion kit. The kit contained a new coil, wires and distributor with timing jumper. Installation was straight forward although I had to rig a new way to mount the coil. I will say that the supplied wires were not long enough for my Counter Rota...

Re: water leaking from manifold
Congrats on the new boat. This is generally a straight forward remove and replace. As for the Fresh water cooling, you do not want to convert old blocks to freshwater cooling. 1. If the boat has ever been in Salt Water, the residual Salt will react with the antifreeze and gel. Also Fresh Water Coole...

Re: Exhaust manifold will not come off
You have a headache on your hands. First off, soak the remaining bolts with Penetrating Oil (Liquid Wrench, PB Blaster, etc.) Hit it several times and let it sit for a day or two. You also may need to apply heat. Best bet would be to heat up the block area to allow a little expansion. Can the motor ...

Nice. I see you have a little bit of steam. What was the water temp? What RPm were you running? She sounds good.

Re: Clear Plastic Cleaner
When I had Strataglass, I used a Collinite product (925) It worked well. I continued using it on my normal vinyl windows now. I start with Meguiar's plastic wondow cleaner and follow up with Collinite. teh Collinite keeps it supple and helps keep it clean for months. This Year I had some 210 spray p...

Re: help with Nav lighting
When I added my radar, I put it on a platform with an all around light. I disconnected the front light and the stern light stopped working. I carry a raft on the swim platform so the stern light was often covered anyways. I jumpered the all around light to be on forward and aft in either position on...

Todd, I just spent last 45 minutes catching up on this post.
