Re: 12 Meter International Water Heater Replacement
Just did my 12m Sedan last weekend. When i got it out you can see how much rust. Luckily in the Sportfisherman, the heater is under the stairs, so I just lifted it out. The good news is the Raritan replacement has a plastic outer shell.

Re: winterize fresh water system!
In Florida, we winterize by adding long sleeve shirts to the boat, and switching from Corona to a more full bodied beer to combat the cold.

Nothing like a water leak on a boat to make life interesting.

Re: Fla guys - how did you make out?
All good in Fort Myers, FL. Our marina is sort of a hurricane hole with mangroves on all sides. We saw about 5 feet of storm surge, but we are on floating docks that can handle up to 15 feet. A few stretched lines and nerves, and covered in mangrove leaves, but untouched otherwise. No power to the m...

Re: Hydraulic steering problems
My 12m also has the built in pump, but to save on smashed knuckles because of clearance, I also carry a tiny bike pump (which also works great to plump up the fenders). I also had to replace the Schrader valve, as it was leaking ever so slowly. What is the Schrader valve? FWIW, When I pump it to 35...

Re: 11 Meter Express 86 AC pump ID please ?
Our 1988 12m International uses a March Mfg. AC-5C-MD Mag Drive Pump. This runs 2 A/C units and has a relay board to control it. Here in Florida it probably runs 18 hours a day almost year round, and is pretty quiet. Hope this helps.

Re: Transducer permanently in the hull?
Based on the "wings" I think it may be a Datamarine 200kz unit. Not sure it would work with a modern chartplotter, but that may be a place to start your digging.

Re: Transducer permanently in the hull?
That is a RCA connector, not a VGA. Some older Airmar transducers used this connector.

I spent a full 5 minutes staring at that picture until I read the P.S. part to figure out what that was!
