How long have you had your Trojan
Out of curiosity I was wondering how long some of you have had your boats. I'm currently in my 15th season with my F-26. The more I use her, the more I would rather go through another complete rebuild than get something different. It's pretty much the perfect boat for what I do.

Congratulations on your new boat!! Sounds like she is mechanically sound, which is great. The deck/Structural stuff is a nice winter project, can be kind of fun. And, you'll really get to know where everything is on the boat which can come in handy. As far as the 318's, I had a little over 1800hrs o...

I agree with randy, I'd get the boat hauled as soon as possible. Another guy at my marina had it happen to his F-26 flybridge and his boat almost sank as a result, happend to him at cruise. When I repowered a few years ago I paid $975 for a new borg warner 1:1 trans. Let us know how you make out Matt

Not sure if this will help you or not, but in this used boat review by marine surveyor David Pascoe, he mentions that the front curved windows are prone to leak. He has some photos and other info on the boat that might be useful.

Jason, My insurance premium is around $450, the boat can only be in the water from April 1 through Nov 1. The hull is insured up to its value and I also have liability. I'm inusred by the same company that does my house and cars. I also belong to Sea Tow for peace of mind. Hope it helps, take care, ...

Jason, Congratulations on your new boat, have fun with her. I'm new here myself, but a proud owner of a 1975 F-26 for 15yrs. I still have as much fun today as when I first got her. I had mine surveyed so I knew what needed to be repaired, and also so I could prioritize and plan out my repairs. I thi...

You did a great job on her, really adds to the boat, very sharp. You also did a very professional job on your deck. That was a project I was glad to finish, looks like I ran into the same problems you did. I finally found this forum after 15yrs of owning my F-26, lots of good info. I decided awhile ...
