I know I may get flack for this .. but depending where they are .. some heat to bolts via a small torch and tap . You may be breaking the heads off the bolts otherwise then it a real pain to get them out

I am thinking same thing k4282.. talked to owner I bought it off.. He said it is a bilge drain plug but he never had boat in water and didn't come with plug it self. I may just plug it and seen on kijjiji they sell plugs with led under water lights .. may look into that

Transom Plug..
Hello everyone.. been a while since posted. Does anyone know type of bolt used for the hole in transom ? I would personally just plug it fiberglass or something but guess its there for a reason as a drainage hole .

Do yourself a favor and install access panels the same size as the engine hatch on both sides of the engine hatch. This way you can easily access every thing under the floors. Hey Paul definitely making access panels on either side of engine hatch . Already made opening for either side of engine . ...

Agree with you about upkeep and interesting suggestion .. was thinking like vinyl that one would use in kitchen or similar with wood pattern but not sure how that would hold up

Wheel house floor suggestions ?
So took floor off to replace rotted frame wood and floor it self is ok but old and lot of holes to fill after screws being taken out. Floor was basic 1/4 inch plywood with what looks like 1/4 teak sheeting I guess glued to it. Decided to replace florring with marine plywood but not sure what to cove...

Ty express .. I did get cover for waste pump out .. this weekend I think will fill up water tank with water and see where all pipes are what's working leaking if anything. My water tank doesn't have inlet on deck ... its located port side of engine and basically fill it from under the wheelhouse flo...

Well why kind of confused since do have waste pump out hole on starboard side so wasn't sure.
