Hmm - that 1982 is interesting. It holds more water & fuel than ours, and it says the salon sleeps 4. Not in ours! My husband and I take up the whole dinette/bed so maybe 4 kids? The v-berth is the same though.

I don't know if having a rare boat is a good thing or a bad thing. So far its ok :)

Its great! We've had wonderful weather this Summer - unfortunately we just got our Trojan up here in July so we missed most of it.
We only had one rough day running in 6ft seas but she handled it quite well.

Sig or Dickinson oil stove

Well we've moved on from the Wallas stoves..... 4k is a bit much for only 6000 btus :)

Does anyone have any opinions on either the Dickinsons or Sig stoves/ heaters? We are leaning towards the Sigs at this point unless someone has a horror story for me.

We wont have the boat up here for a few more weeks so I am trying to check out all my options. It has gas engines, but I want to get rid...

I agree - no propane on boats! I know this isn't going to be cheap.... thats what boats are all about, right?! :)

Thanks for the suggestions - Ive already priced out the Norcold fridge, so now on to the water heater and the stove.

Anybody have experience with Wallas stoves?

New Trojan F-30 owners / need info on propane removal

We just purchased a 1980 F-30 out of Gig Harbor, Washington and we will be bringing it home to Alaska in about two weeks! We are very excited! The one issue we are dealing with is that everything is propane - the oven, the refer, the heat - hot water. Its ALL coming out & being replaced with som...
