I just happened to see this boat with a seatrial video for sale in my area. It needs a little tuning...think max should be 4400 rpms not 4000.

Hey everyone! I haven't been posting too much lately (couple times per month or so) because this is the year I'm getting back into shape. I hurt my knee a few years ago and gained 30 pounds - haven't been able to lose it no matter what. So, instead of chattin' when the work is done, I bolt out to th...

Maybe his wife is nagging him to sell the boat and he is making an "honest" effort. LOL! I'm catching on all these posts and this is the only one that made me chuckle out loud. My wife said "what are you laughing at?" If she only knew why our boats never sell - despite my honest...

bummer. I'm sure the insurance guys will take a good look at any fire at a boat mfg. these days. They did/do such beautiful work. This is one of my favorite boats on the market - look at the cockpit in the 4th picture: http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listing/photoGallery.jsp?ro=1&slim=quicknull&a...

Juice Clark, how do you like the multi function gauges? I am thinking about going down that route to reduce the footprint of gauges on my dash to make some room for other items. Just not sure if the tight grouping gets old after a while compared to having seperate gauges. Thanks for any info. I lik...

To each his own right gang? But for this guy, solid glass is the only way. I'm sure you all recall that new Berty falling apart in Palm Beach right from the factory:

I'll only mention what I know: I know for sure the 14 meter is fully cored because I took a good look at one. I also know the 13 meter is cored because I took a good look at a Katrina boat where the hull was torn open and it was cored with balsa...quite nice glass work I must add. Now, if they chang...

I love those Intl' Series layouts. Since Trojans don't tend to blister, it'll probably be alright. That being said, if I bought one that would be the one that turns into a disaster. If I had a cored hull boat, I'd do what my neighbors do with their cored boats: keep it on a lift. Then, you wouldn't ...

I've been down many times over the years driving and by boat. Drive down to Isla Morada and check everything out and do a few dives. Then, take the boat down the next time. Have some "inside" dives planned if the weather is bad and other back-up plans. Hell, I only pay $20 bucks to dock at...

Used boat prices gotcha down?

Think of the guy who lost this boat. Some friends of mine are over in Ft. Laud. right now negotiating with the bank to buy it for $60K. The DDs have 350 hours and all the interior walls have just been resurfaced. It's never been sunk or anything...just a repo. that the bank has too many of. It does ...
