New modern V8's
V6?
Electric motors powered by a GENSET either gas or diesel?
Add outboards and remove v8's
etc...
Look forward to all your thoughts and from those that have done it...

What came standard for batteries on my vintage boat? 1977 F30 Express dual engines just 2 batteries? both were used for starting each engine? was one used for house dc circuits? where would you put battery switch to start boat? it seems a better system would be 2 starter batteries, one for each engi...

I can see where it is useful to have bow down when cruising faster, due to it rising and obscuring view... is there a reason to this thing set to bow up? it seems you would always put in bow down position? is it because it cause drag on...

Re: 1977 Chrysler 318 running at slow speeds for hours
Thanks Big D!!
question for you... do you have one of those Trojan emergency battery "joiners" ?
do you have a wiring diagram for it?
how do I uninstall it to make my wiring as simple as possible...
thanks!

1977 Chrysler 318 running at slow speeds for hours
I run my 1977 Trojan F30 Express with dual 1977 Chrysler 318 running at slow speeds for hours, around 1000 RPM...
is this bad for engines?
should I make any mods to engine or prop for this type of slow cruising?
thanks!

Re: Dreaded 2 Engine failure

I do like the idea of keeping both engines totally apart from each other... so if one fails, there is N...
