Re: Refitting a 1976 F-32 Journal

Bulkhead is cut out and the new parts are made. Finally going to start putting things back together this weekend. Replacing all the rotted White Oak below the Sliding Door/Salon Deck. And all silicon bronze fasteners. Once its in I'm going to redo the fiberglass tabbing on both sides of the new bulk...

1976 F-32 - Teak Cockpit Deck Hatch Trim Needed

I'm in the process of re framing the cockpit deck on my 1976 F-32 Sedan. I want to make the cockpit deck hatch large enough to be able to remove the gas tanks if I have issues in the future. My thought is to extend the original hatch towards the sliding doors enough to allow the tanks to be serviced...

Re: 1976 F-32 Cockpit Deck Slope

I'm going to have to go with the original framing position. I would assume Trojan accounted for as many variables as possible when the boat was designed.

1976 F-32 Cockpit Deck Slope

I'm in the process of reframing the deck on my F-32 and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the slope of the rear deck. I want to be sure the deck is sloped towards the aft of the boat were the scupper holes are located. The factory framing is still in tact and I can easily keep the d...

Re: Refitting a 1976 F-32 Journal

All the old decking is out and now its time to replace the top of the bulk head and rotted framing. Has anyone replaced the celotex lik material Trojan used between the stringers and under the plywood? I'm thinking some type of foam board would work good.

That is the original swim platform. I'm adding a ladder and will post pics when it's done.

Refitting a 1976 F-32 Journal

I though it would be good to share the progress of the refitting of my new to me 1976 F-32. I started gutting the cockpit deck and it has the typical rot on the perimeter framing

Chrysler Engine ID Verification

I was under the impression that I had Chrysler 318 Engines. But I was getting pictures of the ID tags on the engine for my insurance agent and this is what they looked like. You may have to zoom in but the numbers are as follows: M360BWR15 912 & M360BWL15 912. Does this mean I actually have Chry...

F-32 Sedan - Anchor/Running Light Needed

I'm looking for the original anchor/running light that mounts to the lower part of the fly bridge Surround up front. I have a 1976 Trojan f-32 sedan. I want to restore her to as original as possible. Might take a few years but in the mean time we will enjoy going out for cruises. I attached a pictur...

Re: Oil Pressure Gauges - This seems odd

Thanks guys, All the other gauges seem fine. They are all original gauges and now that Prowlerfish posted the picture that's exactly what my gauges look like. I'll look into the sender units but from what I read they are obsolete correct? I have to change all four gauges and senders correct?

Oil Pressure Gauges - This seems odd

I was out at the boat today and the oil pressure gauges have been bothering me. With the key off they sit at about 20-30 psi. When I turn the key they drop to close to zero. Turn key off they climb to 20-30 psi. Is this normal? This is a new to me 1976 F-32 Sedan. When the engines are running its ar...
