There are two rollers per end and if I recall correctly one is a ball bearing roller and the other is plastic. The ball bearing roller comes off with a 7/16 and the p...

I have the same boat and replaced the rollers and it is pretty straight forward to do. Remove the screws that hold the door in place and simply unscrew the rollers.

Low Water Pressure???

I have a 12M Trojan International that I have been going through fixing up. In the fresh water system I have replaced the fresh water pressure switch and the hot water heater. The water pressure in the boat is very low. I am wondering if the accumulator pump could be bad. Anyway to test the tank? Th...

I have the same boat but with J & T 671 485HP. Before I purchased the boat on the sea trial the boat would not go over 2375 - 2400 RPM. I did some investigation and found that the boat should have 24 x 26 props, I also found from doing some research that many people have to tweak the props to ge...

Pricing is about $7.50 a sq foot.... After reading up some more I am now thinking more of the Amtico flooring. I am concerned that near water will de-laminate the plywood. I also decided not to do teak and holly. I would have to use individual pieces of holly and I am concerned about how it will all...

Thanks Wes. I have already ripped the whole interior of the boat so I have pretty good access. This weekend I am going to take some of the nuts off from the bottom and remove the plywood backer behind the nuts and see what I am up against. At this point I think I am going to take the approach you to...

Got my samples from Amtico today, it looks good and looks like it will wear really well. I also got a piece of 1/2 Teak & Holly plywood. Although the Amtico looks good and will wear better than wood I am lean toward wood. Partly because I think I would be more comfortable installing the wood as ...

I have check a couple of other sites and it seams that 1/4" is the way to go. What do you suggest I use to glue it down? I have heard West System and PL2000. Has anyone ever heard of http://teakdecks.com/installationepoxy.php They make something that looks like tile mastic... How do you suggest...

Teak & Holly Sole

Hi, I am planning on putting a Teak & Holly sole in my boat this spring and I am looking for some advice. I am planning on using Teak & Holly plywood and I am trying to decide between 1/4" and 1/2". The 1/2" will add more weight and cost more more but I think it will be easier...

I have a 12M and had a similar leak. Water was leaking from the the vents for the galley and the head. I ended up having to take apart the inside of the cabinet and cur out the inner fiberglass behind the blowers because of rot

I was up at the boat yesterday and it appears that it is not the front windows that are leaking but rather the side sliding windows. It looks like there are a series of mounting bolts that come down through the bottom of the track and that is where they are leaking Anybody ever remove these side win...
