Re: North Channel

The North Channel was one of my favorite cruising destinations for several years when we lived in and departed from Port Austin, MI. I had three favorite areas to drop the hook and spend some good time. The closest to where you are departing from is The Benjamin Islands. It is easily accessible in o...

Re: 380 NM - CT to Plattsburgh NY

Thanks for the travel log. Very interesting reading and good pics. We did the same with our Tri-cabin five years ago. Our maiden voyage was 768nm from Lake St. Clair up through Lake Huron; under the Mighty Mac bridge, and then completely down the full length of Lake Michigan to her current slip. We ...

Re: Where to purchase a cabin enclosure for a '77 Tricabin

Welcome to the forum.

I have a 79 Tri and I replaced the canvas two years ago. They installed a new SS frame with it and the total cost was a little over $5K and that included the heavier glass that Paul spoke of.

Hope that helps.

Re: Tri Cabin Windshield removal

I have the instructions from Trojan on how to remove and re-install your windshield. It came as part of the owner's manual on my 79 tricabin.

PM me with your email address and I will send it to you.

Pics would be great, but regardless of what system it is, the rocker switches operate a hydraulic pump which you should be able to hear when you operate the switch. If you don't hear the pump, it is not getting power or is bad. That would be the first thing I would do is see if the pump is working.

CP - I appreciate your generous offer and also see the need to update when necessary. As was pointed out, none of us use Loran-C anymore because something light years ahead and much more reliable and accurate is available. Since you are offering a donation, I think it will be looked upon as a gestur...

Getaway, Thanks for your hospitality. Now I will be able to discuss the design of my cockpit hardtop intelligently with Atlantic Towers. They said that they have the blueprints and drawings of the F32, but I am glad that I could verify where the hardtop will end. On another note, wow, what a great ...

Looks like a nice, clean, well maintained, one owner boat. Price is a little high to me, but who knows. Depends on who is in the market right now for that kind of boat.

Looks like the lower helm station has been removed. Since I park bow in I would like the connections in the front somewhere, maybe not under the bow pulpit, but somewhere near the front.
