Re: F32/F36 Upper Station Console

I know of a upper console from an 80's F-36. It is the bare shell, no controls, wheel or guages.

This is located in eastern WI ( Algoma ) No sure if it is what you are looking for however If you are interested, pm me and I will give you his phone number

Re: ac install

My unit is under the back deck, with blowers in the salon and anchor locker ( venting for salon and berth) My assumption is this was a factory install as documentation shows it was ordered with A/C. This is on a 1988

My 1988 F32 is about the same way. Never measured, but my berth AC is colder output than my Salon AC

Helpful Company for Genny issues

Was having an issue with my Westerbeke 6.5bcg as in no power going to the panel. Did some reading on several boards and found a few people were suggesting Mayfair Power Systems in Freeport NY. So I took some meter readings and called them. From what I was reading online, everything was pointing to a...

Re: 454 Crusaders 3000 max rpm

Sounds to me to be more of a tach issue, than an engine issue. If you're doing 27 mph at "3000" rpm, your tach is lying to you.

Are both tachs telling you the same reading? WOT is spec'd to be about 4,000 rpm, with a top speed about what you are getting.

Re: Best boat for family - 36' Tri-Cabin?

I had a full survey performed on an boat once that was a 9k asking price. Saved me 3 thousand, as they found things the the seller wasn't aware of.

If you are sure this is the one, get a SAMS sureveyor. Worth every penny!

Re: Canvas Projects

Finished the cover with enough success that I will try to tackle another project. Also learned enough to know that the canvas pro's are worth what they charge. :)

Hopefully it goes well. Either way I will keep posting my experience. Prowlerfish- Using my existing 4-bow frame and wil replace with Sunbrella 8400. If I get as far as doing the full enclosure, I will use Strataglas 040 in clear. WayWeGo - Mother in law has a Necchi that is portable and has a walki...

Canvas Projects

After recovering from the quote to replce the canvas on the boat, I decided to give it a go on my own. Ordered supplies from Sailrite and have a commerical walking foot machine. Starting with a windshield cover to see how I perform! Measured and made templates and cut the pieces this weekend. Pics b...
