Paul, not sure where you'd call it maybe Norfolk? I know they have some restaurants like Hooter's and a public marina. Down near the big navy ships. Stopped there with friends on a trip down the ICW on the way to the Elizabeth river perhaps...? I just know it as the water front...waterside?

Generally speaking, changing names was an old superstition among commercial vessels of the time. I don't think they apply to recreational vessels. You might try a heat gun or hair dryer and CAREFULLY heat and peel as you go. Be sure to remove any and all adhesive, best as possible. Not sure what adh...

Hey Paul,
We're going to make a voyage sometime this summer down to the waterfront area. Isn't that near you?

Windlass

I have a real POS windlass on my boat, got it with the boat a long time ago. Heck, I don't even know the manufacturer, it's that messed up. But it still works... I think I am going to replace with a "Good" windlass. I like the durability and free fall feature, which I don't enjoy now. My f...

Are you referring to the website by his signature? I for one don't think it's a blatant advertisement ...he helps a great deal on this forum. Perhaps it's not allowed, but... When I for example post a site in a reply, I'm not offering any advertisement, just passing along info. Maybe he's affiliated...

My brother also has that on his '77 F32. His sliders are a lighter shade than mine and when closed, you can see the clock illuminated through the slider...neat.

Capt Ross,
Any chance you have some pics of the engines, engine room, interior of your boat and other specs? Would be neat to see your diesel layout in your F32. My email address is below if you do.

Thanks.

A buddy of mine has. He replaced his standard stainless sink with a larger ceramic one and tiled the counter top. I'll just stick with mine that I have now. But I do have a garbage disposal in mine which is pretty neat! It is a tight spot to get under the sink area, I have had to remove the fridge i...

My shower sump pump is just aft of the head, under the floor in the galley with a small cut out in the floor.

I think yours should be accessible as well...?

Yes, it should work. Below is what I have. Remember, Dometic Corp owns many of the manufacturers with other names, at least the compressor, I believe... Anyhow, take a look here for the dimensions which I have for the 16K. Your model may also have a blower cage which rotates to facilitate duct routi...

Well, I installed a Crusair 16K with the SMX controls, reverse cycle unit under my settee. With a straight discharge from the top. The 7" ducting runs to a transition box with a 4" insulated ducting to run forward to the v-berth and a 7" ducting running aft to just below the lower hel...

Maybe...a Napa but wouldn't bet on it.

Try Worst Marine or perhaps your local marina's ship store has what you need.
