Cruise speed

On my '85 F32 I generally cruise at 2900-3000 RPM. Putting me at 18-20Kts. with a calm sea. Although I can get into the 4000 plus range, I rarely run them even close to that. Crusader 270's.

Just curious to what RPM and speed those who run gassers achieve when cruising...

Thanks.

On my F32, I replaced the 12,000 BTU Cruisair w/ rotory knobs with a 16,000 BTU Cruisair unit and SMXII control. The mistake someone had done before was to install the older unit below my cockpit. The return air was from my salon going through the rear bulkhead on the P/S with the supply also going ...

I had an issue with my rear tank once. It was the anti syphon valve. Do you have them? Check those first, they get gummed up and restrict the opening and of course, restrict fuel flow. Very simple to remove, inspect and clean.

Check with http://www.sailorman.com

They have a HUGE inventory of clean used parts for virtually any boat. I am sure they would have rail hinge assemblies...

Early F32's had a hinged sections on the sides. The hinged parts may still be available from Marine Tech. Give John a call, he'll help you.

Photo Gallery?

Is there a photo gallery of sort where folks can post pics of their boats here?

I think it would be neat to view from time to time and see what others have or are working on. Or would we just start a thread of boat pictures?

Jav, that looks fanstastic! However, are you going to re-install your railing around the cockpit? I was thinking at one time, about removing mine for that clean look...but the depth on the sedan is very shallow from the cockpit sole to the gunnel. On the 32 express, with or without the flybridge, th...

Then try using Meguiar's PLASTX. I use it for removing the haze and fine scratches in composit headlamps. Does wonders on them...just don't have the need to use it on the boat. Good luck.

I think the unit on my '85 is from Teleflex. Call John at Marine Tech, he should be able to get you going again.
