Mine has raw water warning lights on the dash from the factory. Sending units are on the heat exchangers.

If you're closed water cooled, it may be your raw water flow lights. There's a sending unit on the heat exchanger.

Re: taking care of teak
Scrub your teak with comet & a brass gas grill brush. When it's dry coat it with Sikkens Door & Window. It's clear & will bring up the natural color of the wood.

Re: Weak discharge with steam
A friend with a 318 in his Ventnor had a problem with one side of his engine hotter than the other. He was raw water cooled too. He pulled the soft plugs on the block & flushed out a ton of crap from around his cylinders. Engine runs good now.

Re: Chrysler 440 Carbs
Check the vents on your fuel pumps. I had one leak when I first started the engine. It stopped after a minute or so, but I replaced it because that's not a good thing to have on a woody.

V-drives are separate from the velvet drives. You need reduction gears on the velvet drives to change directions

Re: Rear deck wood finishing
Get a brass gas grill brush & a couple cans of Comet, wet the deck & scrub. After it's rinsed & dried, coat with Sikkens door & window. It's clear so the natural colors will show through. My deck came out real nice. Text me your # to 315-374-9736 & I'll send you some before &...
