I have found a through the hull fitting that is capped off. It is near the forward bildge pump. I decided to take the cap off and check it. I found it was not bonded. . It will be when I replace the cap and bond the fitting. So I did find the mystery through the hull fitting. It is not used. Since ...

Also I woudl like to make the tab surface bigger so I may check out some upgrade options. You say 1986 but no comment on model. I would be hesitant on increasing the tab size...

Pennants are sweet!

Thanks David got mine today and a shout out to Jimini for getting them made in the first place.

Hmmm.. seems to me the only thing that is wrong here is the gauge reading at low revs. All your other checks have not shown any problem. If the engine sounds fine and accelerates fine (no odd sounds) then you may have a problem with the oil sensor/sender. I have the opposite problem sometimes it sta...

Re: bilge heating

anybody out there heat their bilge compartment for the winter, like to share methods, etc, as I am keeping her in all winter, Only comment I will make is be aware that there will be condensation forming on the inside surface of the hull due to interior humidity. This is generally behind the interio...

I like taking old girls that someone forgot to love and making em beautiful again. Just never tackled one of this size before. That coupled with my insecur...

Be aware that the gelcoat underneath the stripe has been protected from UV rays and so will not likely match the colour of the remaining uncovered area. You will likely have to work the whole side section with compound and then wax & buff. So with that in mind removing with compound prior to buf...

OK, I think it is working, you get signed in automatically. Please let me know if it doesn't work. These are a few of my pictures, wife and kiddies and I went on a little boat ride this summer, from Lake Erie, to Georgian Bay and the North channel. Still can't see your pics without joining. Problem solved... To get photos to display in a message one needs to get the link to the actual jpg to display it. I tend to just use links to direct my readers to the photo site not put pictures in my message. Is that what you were trying to do? I can't help with users on snapfish other than to say...
