You could buy canvas from 10 boats like yours and a good chance none will fit . as 99% off all canvas you will find is custom made , some newer boats come with pre made canas but most of it is cheap stuff trha wont last .

Keep shoping around there must be at least one decent canvas guy/gal around

I would not worry about having one new engine( or rebuilt) and one older. It won't cause any issues . The proplem with the football players boat was not the boat , it was sadly human error .

If you have on of those transmissions in your boat it should look to see what you have . you never can tell what have untill you check thing may have been changed ,if you have the 71 or 72 I can email the man. to you

Slowind down to gaser speed won't make any diffrence in fuel burn . Now is I slow down to trawler speed (7 knots ) I would . but it would take 20 hours to get to the same place I can get to in seven , that would be fine when I retire.
