F32 Vibration Briefly in Reverse
Does anyone have a vibration that lasts briefly when shifting into reverse? Only lasts a few seconds then goes away. Is this normal? Have not determined if it is just one engine/prop or both.

Re: AC Fuel gauges new tanks
Well I installed two new fuel gauges (sierra heavy duty ) and they work great. If anyone needs two new AC Delco fuel gauges for their Trojan, let me know. I have two and they work great. Just didn't work with my new fuel tank sender unit.

Attachment of rear rub rail
While working on my fuel tank project, I discovered the the wood that holds the part with female threads where the rub rail bolt screw in was all dry rotted. Anyone tackle this project yet? Solutions?

Re: F32 Interior Wood Work
I have used Watco exclusively on my 1978 f-32 and it looks great. Sort of gives the boat that new -boat smell also. Does not smell bad. The oil lasts a long time so if you do it you probably won't need to do it again for another 5 or 6 years.

Re: AC Fuel gauges new tanks
Thanks for the replies guys. I did run the ground wire all the way to the termination block in the bottom of the gauge cluster in the dash. I ordered two new gauges and will install them this weekend and let you know. I suspected as much that the resistance range would not work with the new senders ...

AC Fuel gauges new tanks
I replaced my galvanized fuel tanks with two Moeller poly tanks. When I hooked up my sender to the gauges they show full. So I removed the resistor from the back of the gauges thinking that would help. Now the engines won’t start and it pops the breaker on the dash. Do I need new gauges? Everything ...

Re: F-32 fresh water tanks
Is the plywood cover glued to the fiberglass top or is it just sitting on top of it? Mine has a little dry rot in the forward starboard side and I would like to replace it

Re: Plastic Fuel Tanks installed in a 1977 F-32 model 321
I'm making the ground connection to my deck fill with new 1-1/2" hose barb fitting and both the fill and vent connections on my tank are plastic. So do I run the ground wire to the sender unit ground or to the old round tank ground wire or both so that I have a good ground. I will be checking g...

Re: Plastic Fuel Tanks installed in a 1977 F-32 model 321
So I am doing the grounding wire from the deck fill to the tank. The connections at the tank are plastic so do I run the wire all the way to the sender or just make the ground connection to the old ground wire that was connected to the round tanks or both? I assume I will check for continuity to gro...

Re: Plastic Fuel Tanks installed in a 1977 F-32 model 321
I am thinking about replacing the fuel tank vent fitting in the side of the hull. Anyone do this and what did you replace yours with. Mine are looking sort of cruddy and don't want this to be and issue after I just replaced the tanks. What did you hold your tanks in place with? Did you use any foam ...

Re: A fond farewell
Sad to see you go. I hope when I sell my F-32 I can say that I sold it for $1500 less than I paid 10 years ago. But I have probably put more money into her than I care to count. I believe we discussed some trips you were planning to South Haven a while ago. Hope you can venture to our port again wit...

Re: F32 rear fuel tank replacements
The storage place where my boat spends the winter, has a service department that had ordered these two new tanks for another boat but got the dimensions mixed up and the tanks would not fit the boat they intended to put them in. I came along in need of new tanks and made them an offer they couldn't ...

Re: Plastic Fuel Tanks installed in a 1977 F-32 model 321
I got the old tanks out. Really quite easy. Should have done this ten years ago. My tanks are Moeller 64 gallon with tapered bottom sides with a flat bottom. Got a great deal on them ($500 for both) because our marina mechanic ordered them for another boat but got dimensions wrong so bonus for me! W...

Re: F32 rear fuel tank replacements
I got two 64 gallon Moeller tanks for $500 for both tanks. They have a tapered bottom with a flat section so I will have to slightly modify my tank saddles and tie downs on my 1978 f32
