Re: Soft starboard deck on a 87 Tricabin need advice

With 500 hrs on engines and Onan running perfect I think she's ABSOLUTELY worth it!!! If it was still in Baltimore I'd buy her right now.
The survey on my '87 was twice the value of any year earlier.

We lived on ours for 1.5 years......that's how comfortable she is! Some questions Have you actually seen the boat? What other repairs are needed? What's the price? M...

Re: Fresh water ?

Well of course Big D was right....atleast partialy There is hard pipe going to the dockside water inlet, with a 6" piece of pressure hose attaching it to the regulator unit.... it had a nice little pin hole leak. Dried the bilge out and discovered this morning water still leaking from somewhere...

Re: Fresh water ?

Sorry Big D....I shoulda been more clear on that The leak must be very small because I never hear the pump running. We leave the boat during the week and when we come back it's lost about 50-60 gals. We started turning off the pump while gone and no loss at all. I've checked the fittings at the tank...

Fresh water ?

Hello to all....long time!! Two things I've noticed about my '87 Tri 1) When water tank (100 gal, port side aft) is empty she lists heavy to Stbd... anybody else notice that? 2) I have a fresh water leak somewhere when the pump is on and I just can't figure out from where. Suggestions?? Thanks RB 8)

Re: ENTERPRISE GETS HER NAME.... FINALLY. (PIC INCLUDED)

Glad to see your doing well my old Tri-friend.
New job has me working 14-16 hrs a day....trying to get slowly caught up here.
Moved "Special K" to Kent Island last Apr. and hoping to do some cruising up your way next summer.
I'll call you soon and keep fighting the good fight!!!

Re: OnBoard Entertainment Electronics -Thoughts

Having lived aboard my Tri for almost 2 yrs we found a great need for good entertainment. Commi is dead right about Pioneer! I replaced the outdated fm/cd in the saloon with the highest power Pioneer unit I could find....many inputs as well. I disconnected the speakers in the aft cabin because who t...
