Not cheap, but I own 2 (1 on F32 & 1 on 26), and they work great.
What size are you using on the 26?

Just found this reference which places aluminum between magnesium and zinc. Not sure why there's a difference.

Metal Potential, Volts
Calcium +2.20
Magnesium +1.87
Aluminum +1.30
Manganese +1.07
Zinc +0.758
Chromium +0.600
Iron +0.441
Cadmium +0.398
Nickel +0.220

We typically anchor in mud. Danforths work well. The anchor currently on the boat seems a little small, but I just might be a bit conservative when it comes to anchor size.

The anode websites list magnesium for fresh water, aluminum for brackish water, and zinc for salt water. This would imply that aluminum is between magnesium and zinc. In my personal experience, the aluminum anodes corrode faster than the zinc anodes. Is it possible the anode companies are using a di...

For the Delaware River (brackish water), we use aluminum anodes.

NJ boat registration is $57 per year. This is a lot more than the $36 every two years I was paying in PA. Unfortunately, my Trojan is not trailerable like my last boat and is being moored in NJ so I have to register it in NJ.

The long metal bar on the seat attaches to the side of the boat. There's a separate elongated U shaped peice of tubing that fits into sockets in the bottom of the seat to support the side of the seat in the middle of the cockpit. To fold the seat down, remove the U shaped peice of tubing and the sea...

I'm thinking of using pontoon bench seating in the cockpit. It will give me more seating AND provide a place to store my dock lines and fenders. Has anyone ever done this?

Dog house, your boat has a V-Drive Chrysler 318...am I right? That is correct. My boat has a Chrysler 318 with a Velvet Drive transmission and Paragon V-Drive. The engine was rebuilt a few years ago and has 254 hours on it. When I was looking at the boat before I bought it, the 318 just purred in a...

The 1971 Trojan brochure states several times that the F Series are "all fiberglass boats". I always assumed that the stringers were glassed in wood. Does anyone know if that is correct, or if Trojan used a non-wood material for the stringers, etc. Since the brochure is marketing, I'm gues...

Dog House is you boat glass with wood top side or all glass ? My boat is an all glass F26. I believe 1971 was the first year for the F26, but I'm not sure. In 1971, Trojan also produced the 25 foot Sea Raider, which had a fiberglass hull and wood deck and structure (I have a 1971 Trojan brochure, w...

Bryan, First, a few technicalities to correct from those earlier posts. 2. I can't find definitive proof that the early F-26 ('71-'72) was called the Model 260. Considering that other Trojan models introduced prior to 1973 have 'oddball' model designations, I doubt it. Maybe an early F-26 owner can...

The 1971 F26 was Model 231. I'm not sure when the model designation changed to 261.
